Mother Found Dead Shortly After Boyfriend Posted This Disturbing Snapchat Photo

In a chilling series of Snapchat photos sent by a young mother just hours before her death by gunshot, the woman is shown with a gun jokingly pointed at her head.

Stephanie Hernandez, a 21-year-old mother, was found shot dead inside a home in North Little Rock, Arkansas, on Sep. 27, Daily Mail reports. Rafael Gonzalez, her 20-year-old boyfriend, is currently being held by police as a suspect in the shooting.

Gonzalez is being held at  Pulaski County Detention Center without bail.

Hernandez’s uncle Rey told that the young mother had been getting her life together for her two young daughters before her death. She had apparently moved into a new home with roommates and had a new job lined up that she would have started on Sep. 28.

According to Hernandez’s uncle, the Snapchat photos that his niece sent just hours before her death were extremely disturbing. Some featured Hernandez with her boyfriend in the background holding a gun. Others featured a gun and gun clips.

“They were disturbing to see him holding a gun,” Hernandez’s uncle said. “I don’t understand how anybody can do that.”

He added that the family is in pain and that Hernandez’s death is hurting all of them.

At the time of the shooting, Hernandez’s children were with relatives.
