Using complicated technology, experts at Phojoe.com were employed by Sachs Media to help treat Elvis Presley fans to a glimpse into what could have been had the “King of Rock and Roll” lived in 2015. The technology that the experts used to age Presley is the same that they’re generally asked to use to help law enforcement and the media age persons of interest. By studying dozens of pictures of Presley, the experts were able to come up with a series of images that depict what they believe the singer would look like today.
“Through this series of images, we hope to honor them and evoke some of the magic they brought to millions of their fans,” Sachs CEO Ron Sachs said, according to The Boot. “Even as we ponder what wonderful new contributions they still could have made.”
On Thursday, millions of fans around the world celebrate Presley’s birthday, and several hundred devoted admirers traveled to Memphis, Tennessee, stood outside in the cold weather, and joined his family to honor the late music legend.
Although Presley died in 1977, his legacy still lives on today, and these images truly honor the star in a unique way.
