A Homeless Vet Is Gifted With A Tiny Home (Video)

A homeless person rests on the streets of Los Angeles

A U.S. veteran, years after serving his country, was relegated to sleeping on the streets of Los Angeles. His predicament fit into the troubling pattern of veterans being twice as likely to become homeless compared to the rest of the population. Elvis Summers, a good-hearted volunteer, transformed the veteran's quality of life. Through commitment, $500 bucks and a little elbow grease, Summers constructed a tiny home for the veteran to call his own. The structure may be modest, but it gives a true patriot a place to lay his head with dignity.
