A lady who confessed to reckless driving for running over her 9-year-old child while dropping him off at school in Michigan has been ordered to serve 30 days in prison.
Tiffany Kosakowski, 36, disclosed to Kent County Circuit Court in Grand Rapids that she has to “live with this for the rest of my life.”
Judge Curt Benson condemned her Thursday to a half year in prison, with everything except 30 days suspended. He called her activities “simply inexcusable.”
Kosakowski’s child hung from the front door for about 50 yards (48 meters) in December at Chandler Woods Charter Academy’s parking space in Belmont before he lost his grasp and was run over. Authorities state he did not want to remain at school.
The kid survived yet suffered awful traumatic injury to his cerebrum.
