January Jones took the time to troll the National Enquirer after the outlet emailed her for comments about her “desperate” bikini shots.
The Mad Men star posted the message she received from the outlet, and included a “desperate” bikini photo complete with a subtle middle finger for National Enquirer.
The email read:
To Whom It May Concern:
The National Enquirer is preparing to publish a story which reports January Jones has worried friends with her series of attention-grabbing bikini pictures and social media posts. Sources claim her contents smacks of a "desperate cry for attention" and note how her acting work appears to have dried up before the pandemic took hold. If you have a statement or wish to comment please provide it.
She responded on IG: "S--t. They’ve discovered my secret. Consider this my public apology to my ‘friends.’"
"Had to do it. #DESPERATE," she captioned one bikini shot.
The photo got tons of likes, and Chrissy Teigen commented, "It was me. I’m worried !!!!!!!"
"Do it again and again... I sure don't mind," one fan wrote.
Another added, "The internet loves your desperation keep it up!! :) Love, love, LOVE that look of desperation!!."
Yet another person commented: "Seriously, if my bikini bod looked half that good, I'd be sharing pix 24-7!."

One fan stated, "All press is good press! If I had to write down the first actress that I admire most, it would be you. Stunning, funny, extremely talented, a single mom. You are more beautiful in person and shine in a room like no one else."
