A Cobb County resident shot at three people breaking into a home on Olive Spring Road, killing one of them. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
According to police, the three tried to break into the home when the 17-year-old resident opened fire.
Two of the intruders were hit, and 21-year-old Machavellia Bagsby died. Another intruder, a 16-year-old, got away but was later arrested.
A ring video of one homeowner showed 21-year-old Tauruss Miller rushing to her front door to seek help after telling her that he had been shot.
Police were in the home overnight, and have no plans of charging the shooter.
Miller and his 16-year-old accomplice have been charged with murder, attempted armed robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
